Changing HibouAlert battery

The HibouAlert button uses a very common battery (CR2032) and can be changed very easily.

1. Put the HibouAlert button in palm of hand
2. Apply pressure with other palm and rotate counter clockwise
3. Take out battery and replace with new CR2032 battery
4. Once you have replaced the battery, put the bottom portion of the button holding the battery in the palm of your hand, apply top portion of button and then rotate to close
5. Hold down HibouAlert button for 10 seconds until it turns green
